From the Pastor's Desk

My wife Star and I would like to personally invite you to visit our church family at Victory. Our friendly, caring people will extend a warm welcome to you.

We strive to worship the Lord, share each others burdens, and encourage one another as we sing the praises of our Saviour Jesus Christ and hear God speak to us through His Word as it is preached each service.

Once again, we welcome you to visit and be a part of our services.

   May God richly bless you,

   Pastor Allen Cotton

About the Pastor

Pastor Allen Cotton was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida.  After graduating high school in 1973, he and his wife met and shortly thereafter they married in 1974.  In 1975, Pastor Cotton joined the Marine Corps where they were stationed at Camp LeJuene, NC. While stationed at Camp LeJuene, they were happy to announce the birth of their first child (Bo).  Two years later, he was stationed in Jackson, MS, where he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and their second bundle of joy (Natalie) was born. After separating from the Marine Corps, Pastor Cotton returned to Pensacola and worked in law enforcement for 26 years.  He served as a deputy sheriff and as a homicide investigator with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.  Several years later he was asked to serve with the State Attorney's Office as an investigator.  While serving as a layman at Victory, he wore many hats at different times in the church such as teaching the teen boys class, youth director, treasurer, song leader, was in charge of the bus ministry and drove the church bus. He surrendered to preach in 2002, and would become the co-pastor of Victory in 2006, until Pastor Emeritus Reierson retired in 2009.  While visiting his grandchildren out of state and shortly before Pastor Reierson retired, the church voted Allen Cotton in as their next pastor.  Pastor Cotton studied at West Florida Baptist Institute where he gained his Bachelor degree in Theology in 2011.
